Chapter 6 Repost and something weird going on with Patreon (Patreon)

Went to put Ch 6 up on the free sites yesterday but decided to give it a readthrough first.

Tbh I'm a little disappointed with myself, while the end is strong the beginning of the chapter is pretty cringy. Poor sentence structure, lots of passive voice, things I feel I should be beyond at this point in my writing skills. :P

Seeing this, I gave it another once over and I'm putting the improved versions here as well as updating the original post.

I'll also be putting up a revision of First Name, Second Name in a few minutes. This Grammarly upgrade is going to keep me busy for a while.

For those wondering about the big drop in the pledge amount, there appears to be something going on with Patreon's processing where people's cards are getting declined for no reason even after the patron verifies their account and that the funds are available (that's going off the comments on Patreon's Support Twitter). I'm hoping they get it fixed soon.
