No Patreon, I'm not promoting a raffle. I'm just feeling very lucky today. 😁

Remember... a long time ago (yesterday) when I said I was going to hit up Reddit and Twitter and see if I could find someone to begin working on the comic/graphic novel?

Well I'm still waiting on a few people to submit their sketches of the same scene but this gentleman set the bar pretty high. For me there is a lot he got right like matching closely to Bluebun's Kal, the worried look on his face, the cave entrance, the mountains in the background, and very little that needs attention like the area in front of the cave is a grassy clearing, not rocks, and Ikuno's horns need to be tighter to her head 

Considering I have been working on this off and on for months now to have something like this fall into my lap the first day back at it. I think it's safe to say my jaw hit the floor... and this is just the preliminary sketch, he does lines and colors too.

I should also mention that I gave him Kal and Ikuno's portraits and the first chapter, that's it. No secondary direction whatsoever, this was all him and he had it done within hours. That's important because the other people all got templates for the layout. They may look very similar despite me suggesting they be creative with it.

So, just wanted to give you guys an update on this. Unfortunately, the response to my Reddit post was much larger than I expected and I have been talking with various artists (and telling scammers to go fuck themselves) all day, which means I have gotten nothing written today (Booo!).

P.S. If this guy takes on the project I will probably go the Graphic Novel route instead of Comic book. It's really just format differences but Graphic Novel has a nicer ring to it and seems to play more to his style.
