shamelessly plugging svt here at anna's upload 🫶🏻😂. pls carats, let's vote seventeen for best group award on mtv's ig story !! + yes, as far as i know, seungkwan was recovering from an ankle injury during the good to me performance era. (correct me if I'm wrong) ++ i can see the hiphop team is coming to you, annie !! 😂 i can't blame you for that 🫣

Thank you, Annie. A little fun fact. A lot of these songs they did unit switches for and omg. Watching the hiphop unit perform Hug was an EXPERIENCE!!!!

heartscoups

omg im just halfway in but i couldnt stop laughing when i saw which Hug performance you're reacting to AHAHAHHAAH it's the one where woozi sat on the wrong pony in the carousel and was just bobbing up and down the whole intro lol, everyone was trying to hold their laughs in so bad LOLLL it being woozi out of all of them just makes it sm funnier

13plus3plus1

This live performance of Hug, the members were fighting to hold their laughter lol 😂

Random facts about some of the performance: Good to me: yes seungkwan was injured!! Hug: their performance for golden disc, woozi didn’t know that the horse on the carousel that he sat on was going to move up and down so the whole vocal team was trying not to laugh, if u see bts of other members watching they were pointing and laughing too haha Getting closer: their performance here was the first time the song was revealed, the song and MV had not dropped yet!

konekochan

They really performed like they were POSSESSED in that getting closer stage. And wonwoo!! woww I stayed til the end!! 🙋‍♀️dw about it annie, technical difficulties always happen and you can vent to us anytime <33 thank you for still working hard to transfer that big video even if it was so tedious 😭😭

heartscoups

i wish i were a carat when they first revealed getting closer w this performance 😭😭 i just can't imagine getting 4 years of cute & sad concepts back to back and then this intense BANGER just dropping out of the blue, i wouldve started malfunctioning lmaooo

13plus3plus1

Omg that is so much work 😫 All i can say is thank you 🫶

Luuus

that jeonghan outfit in the good to me performance got me 🫠 also yes WONWOO. he really is a completely other person on stage. Hopefully you’ll react to other versions of the getting closer performances cause the fan chant is CRAZY.

Great video, I hope you can react to the songs by the inverted units someday. They're truly amazing, and each one brings a different touch to the song. For example, "Hug" by Hip Hop Team is truly amazing, I'm sure you'll love it❤️ And omg, the story behind the tecnical issues, is so funny but at the same time so tragical🫡 I feel you Annie

Sarah_littlesvt

Sorry for the lag during shh. It’s literally the only performance and the concert I took it from that was in the video 🙈 I honestly can’t wait until you watch the recent good to me link I sent. All I can say is Seungkwan

annie hazel
>>186247991

ahahaha i was way too focused on the performance that it didn't even click, until i saw wonwoo and hoshi basically fighting for their lives to hold it in😭

annie hazel
>>186248847

omg that was the first ever performance of Getting Closer??? it must have been crazy to see it live

annie hazel
>>186266438

oh yeah i've been seeing a lot of people talking about these inverted units and i can't wait to check them out😭

annie hazel
>>186256385

yeah Jeonghan was out to wreck everyone's bias in good to me i swear😭 i'll definitely get to some more good to me performances!

LilMeowWow

Another great reaction TYSM! That carousel performance is the reason I can smile whilst listening to Hug, because the reaction shots of the other SVT members laughing when they see Woozi on the horse always pops into my head. And man, Music Bank cameramen for the first performance are almost as bad as Mama for their love of wide shots of the stage/audience, rather than the performance. The jerky panning and zooming had me feeling like I was sailing the high seas!

Seungkwan has a history with his ankle. This was around the first part of it here in January or February of 2019, I believe. By June, he had to miss k-con. In July of 2020, he ruptured his ligament and needed surgery. He’s had a few hiatuses since in 2023 and right before Burstday promotions, and has said in recent lives that it’s hurting him again. He was born with what is medically considered a disability in his ankle. If you watch him sitting, his legs are often stretched out straight because he can’t sit criss-cross well because of it. And yet he still dances like that, and plays volleyball and badminton and basketball regularly, and works so hard all the time.

i've been thinking about Woozi's perfect vocals for the longest time. his voice was so perfect everytime i actually doubted if it's live sometimes. it sounds too close to the studio version it drives me insane 😭

xantorram

I really cannot take seriously that Hug performace 🤣🤣

xantorram

I want you to see the other live performance of Getting Closer, the one with the crazy fanchant!! other artists is shock of the fanchant

As a Coups fan, this Chilli performance hurts my heart because it's the time when he was suffering from severe anxiety on stage ㅠㅠ (for more info, watch Hit the Road ep 3)
