Hello everyone! I was curious if I ever do Marvel Rivals, which style should I use? I check some of them on Smutbase and well they dont look exactly apealing T.T (lol Im sorry)

In-game style: I'm trying to understand a method with just nodes, someone else is working on these shaders. I just peek the nodes a little bit lol but I think its much better wait a little bit lol

"my style": well since the shading looks complicated Im not really sure if its going to be available for everyone my plan is edit the textures to make it look less "comic" and more stylized since these models have normal maps and PBR materials, so the idea its make a complete different material to the hair and clothes ( and edit the comic lines ofc)

I think both takes a lot of time so Im not sure if Im going to add it for February but im going to try make a example when Im done with the content of this month!

Your style or a mix seems fair. Plenty of models have already flooded smutbase anyway, might as well try to be a bit different 🤷🏿‍♂️

Agree. smutbase is inonded with models directly ripped from the game. Having a touch of difference would be good

There's already models out there for basically all the characters, I personally don't think it's worth your time working on them.

I personally don't think it's a good use of your time since there's already a deluge of Marvel Rivals blender files hitting the net. If you want to do Marvel, can I suggest maybe some other characters or variants from the animated Marvel universe? "X-Men Evolution" had some fun versions of characters like Rogue, Wanda, and Boom Boom (and a version of Jean Grey with my favorite hairstyle), "The Spectacular Spider-Man" had a cute take on Gwen Stacey, "Wolverine and the X-Men" had the ever-smokin'-hot Emma Frost, etc. And there are plenty of variants to be found in the comics, of course, (Sue Storm has had a few times where she ended up with some ridiculously slutty costumes, especially in the 90s, completely out of a character and fucking fantastic).
