Soufiane Owen

Now you might get a graspe of the importance of it. The last breath of Gold Roger in this world is this man, son of the King of the Pirates, Son of Whitebeard, Brother of the Straw hat. He must be executed at any cost for the marines ! Welcome to Marine Ford Enoki !

Zack Becker

garp defff didnt tell them he hid it from them so ace could live

GPM

Garp did not blab they found out and confronted him about it..... he just confessed... he hid Rogers son from them (though wanted Ace to be a navy man) if Garp wasnt he hero of the marines and friends with Sengoku he would be in jail

Saya Scarlet

Just a small correction/addition on the translation used: When Jinbei says to Luffy that he's indebted to him and Luffy says "Oh, don't mention it", there's part of Luffy's dialogue missing there that is a little important to the tone and how Luffy views small favors. He ALSO says "Kiri ga ne" (I probably butchered it" or "There'd be no end to it". Also, I think the words you were looking for were "systemic issue" or something along those lines? In regards to Fishmen being 'violent' and the position they're in. Also also, YAY PANDAMAN XD ( Several of his appearances were probably cut out by One Pace BS :eyeroll: ) He shows up again at 23:23 in the background when they're cheering and lifting Buggy up. Also also also xD For real, I do love when people pick up on Japanese stuff. You, picking up on Akainu's name, was such a joy.

now that i'm thinking about it buggy reminds of jamie tartt from ted lasso fr

pierre pennaneach

looooooooooool a buggy ego shot? she don't even knowwwwwww 😭😭😭😭😭😭

pierre pennaneach

garp didn't tell the navy about roger/ace but they found out recently through chiper pol. can't believe oda and his editor made this up on the fly

pierre pennaneach

the navy killed roger but he got the last laugh by starting the great pirate era with his last name. now the navy have to humiliate roger at every twist and turn. this execution is really about making sure pirates fear the navy again in every way possible and what better way to do that than by stamping out the last linage of roger and dealing a monumentally significant blow to whitebeard's rep (if he just lets ace die for example)

Garp is pretty complex even until this day. You'll realize soon. Also Sengoku explained that Cipher Pol (The feds) found out his background information.

garrett wibbeler

For Marine Ford, I really would suggests not watching One Pace. They are going to cut alot of crucial information. As for Garp, he never told the Marines about Ace's lineage. Ciphor Pol which is a intel organization within the World Goverment, researched and investigated into the matter.

Piero

Thisnis part of the process, not having insider knowledge is part of experiencing one piece, to have mixed feelings about characters because you dont know them well yet

Supermonaman

Honestly extremely valid crashout to the end of the episode. This reveal is insane.

Onlythree

Garp didn't tell them, the Marine found out on their own, or did something like DNA analysis.

Red Hound

Roger's execution was supposed to be the end of the great pirate era but instead it ignited it, so Sengoku basically telling the whole world the truth about Ace is him desperately trying to end Roger's era. Great tension start for this arc

Steven

Girl i beg hold your judgment hahaha

Ethan Price

So it begins… I can’t wait for more drops. This arc is one of the best.

Acetag31

When you get a chance. Go back to your notes and look for Sakazuki (akainu). You have met that man before in Robin's flashback. The anime doesn't ever reveal this fact unlike the manga

Acetag31

Also don't do One Pace for Marineford. It withholds a lot of information for example Garp didn't say squat. Cipher Pol and Sengoku found out on their own. Hell it skipped the part where Garp was completely against Sengoku reveal this info and arguing

Devon Ritchie

Garp didnt tell them anything, it was the intel from the cp groups :P

Drew Radie

Buggy is the definition of "failing upwards"
