Yes way back when Zoro fought Mr 1 he was using haki. He just didn't know it

DON is just the phonetic spelling/english translation for ドン which is the sound effect the Oda uses to highlight importance or for emphasis! Which is why you see the ドン cards for TCG, since some of the cards use manga panels for the art. But in general, in Japan It's a onomatopoeia that's used a lot in Japanese TV as well for the same reason. But in the context of when they say "my brother lived in his own way with a Don（ドンと生きた）”　its like saying "he went out with a Bang". Obviously a man cant just explode and go BANG, but like implying that he went out in a dramatic fashion. Similarly Den (Tom's brother) is saying that Tom lived in a way where he's proud of his own work and life, and with his head high and strong. It's kinda hard to explain because "DON" is not really a word that has direct meaning, but a sound effect that Japanese people use like a word? if that makes sense lol

In Japanese "Don" is an opomatopeia and one for a drum beat.... to "do things with a don" would best translate as "he lived to his own beat" or to do things boldly, proudly, and with full conviction and no hesitation. Also the heso thing from skypai was all of them saying "belly button" as a greeting hence the confusion of the straw hats.... I don't think Oda ever fully explained that but it is thought to be a play on words for a few things.... 1 it sounds like english hello and 2 a the slang way to say hello Ossu or Yaho very very casual slang for hello. 3 But also in folklore Raijin (gods of lighting) were thought to steal or eat people's belly buttons.

Haki is the exertion of your willpower. Through Observation, Emmision and Intimidation. Thus the 3 types of Haki we have. What Zoro did on Alabasta was retconned to be a bloom of Haki in order to cut Mr 1. But he had not mastered it. CP9 Six powers is training of the physical body to achieve these superhuman techniques. But is separate from Haki. Body vs Spirit.

Hell there are alot or moments even Luffy and Sanji used some too.... but definitely that is a Haki moment for Zoro. Hell Garp 100% and maybe Nami must be tapping into haki when they hit luffy and make him feel the hurt.

Robin is the only known person that can read the poneglyphs currently, that’s why the government wanted her because they themselves could not read them or else they would’ve made the weapon themselves

Zoro cutting Mr.1 who was iron was indeed him briefly tapping into Haki. CP9 did not use Haki they were just super humans who trained their bodies to that point. The only Haki types are armament, observation, and conquerors. Hope this helps!

just wanted to say i think "drum beat" is a bit misleading. I would rather say its an onomatopoeia for a loud slam/thud. Like you would say 本を落とした時にドンと音した which translates to "the book made a loud thud when it dropped" Another example 壁ドン (kabedon) which is like the manga romance move you see when the protagonist slams their hand next the crushes's head or whatever, literally translates to 壁 (which is wall) and ドン which is the onomatopoeia for the slam noise your hand makes.
