Important Update: A New Character Selection System (Patreon)

Hi everyone — I have some important news!

To create more opportunities for your favorite characters to make a comeback, introduce more new characters, and make sure great ideas are not forgotten at the end of each month, I have decided to introduce a new system for character selection and content creation.

Starting in October, character lineups will no longer be tied to a strict monthly schedule. Instead, each cycle will feature five characters:

3 new characters

2 returning characters

These five characters will remain in production until all of their content has been completed and released.

Video content will continue to be released at the same pace as before.

The current general poll for both free and paid members will be replaced with a new multi-stage selection process.

1. New Character Ideas from Free Members

Once per cycle, I will publish a public New Character Ideas post where free members can share new characters they would like to see in future sets.

This will give me a centralized way to collect feedback and discover ideas from a wider part of the community.

Because this post will be public, please avoid explicit descriptions, vulgar language, and excessive detail when submitting your ideas. Comments that do not follow this rule may have to be moderated.

2. Character Suggestions from Paid Members

Paid members will then receive a separate Character Suggestions post where they can suggest both:

New characters

Returning characters for future comeback sets

This will complement the existing suggestion options, including the Character Suggestions chat and private messages.

3. Voting for New Characters

After the suggestion stage, paid members will vote on a selection of new characters chosen from the submitted ideas and suggestions.

The vote will focus specifically on deciding which new characters should be added to the upcoming lineup.

Suggestions from paid members will receive priority during the selection process. However, I may also include characters of my own choosing if I find them especially interesting or if there are not enough suitable suggestions for a particular cycle.

4. Selecting Comeback Characters

The two returning characters for each cycle will be selected by me, based primarily on suggestions from paid members.

If there is someone you would really like to see return, be sure to mention them in the corresponding suggestion post, the Character Suggestions chat, or a private message.

To keep the lineups varied, I may limit how frequently the same characters can return. Comebacks will remain a regular part of the system, but I would also like to give different characters a chance to appear.

5. The Final Lineup

Once the selection process is complete, the final lineup of three new characters and two comeback characters will go into production.

As the current lineup approaches completion, the selection process for the next cycle will begin.

If a character does not make it into the current cycle, that does not mean the idea or suggestion has been discarded. They may still be selected for a future lineup.

What This Means for Members

Free members will have a dedicated opportunity to submit ideas for new characters.

Paid members will receive priority consideration for their suggestions, be able to suggest characters for future comebacks, and participate in voting for new characters.
