This technique is based on slow motion and frame interpolation technology.
As an example, let's take the flow of creating a one-second animation
The original 30 images required can be produced with only half the number of images (15 images).
■Benefits
・Lower cost of rendering time due to fewer rendering sheets
■Procedure
・Rendering sequentially numbered images with VRay
30 images are required for 1 second of animation at 30 fps.
In this method, 15 images are used for 1 second of animation, half the usual number.
・After Effects
Connect sequentially numbered images and export as an avi file.
In this state, playback will result in an animation that ends in 0.5 seconds.
・Topaz Video AI *Topaz Video AI is an application sold by a company called Topaz.
Loads an avi file and interpolates frames while making slow motion.
The application has a function to interpolate frames while making slow motion, so we used this function to adjust 15 frames to make a 1-second animation.
