Introduction of recommended plug-ins and tone curve settings to brighten highl (Patreon)
Content
Hello, this is SLASH!
This time, I'd like to introduce some plug-ins that I use and the tone curve settings that I use to brighten up the highlights in my work.
Photoshop plug-ins that I often use and recommend
Nik Collection
I often use the preset diffusion effects included in the Nik Collection.
Oniric
Oniric is a plugin I recently found for creating glow effects.
It is more efficient than drawing the glow by myself, and expresses the glow effect more physically correct.
I didn't know if I should post the URL of the external site, but I think you can find it easily if you search for it!
Tone curve setting to brighten highlights
This effect corrects dullness in highlights and makes them brighter and more vivid.
Depending on the brightness of the image, you may need to fine-tune the settings a little.
It may not look like much of a change at first glance, but I think it will have a big impact on the appearance of the image.
When tone mapping type highlight suppression is used in rendering, the image will inevitably look dull, so it is important to use this Talker Curve to restore the vividness of highlights.
