Richard is determined to discover the guilty party, and punishes the interns by making them arrange a prom for his niece. Meanwhile, Callie presses George about his feelings, and Derek and Meredith have to make a decision about Doc.

The acting in this episode was phenomenal. Losing Denny makes it one of the saddest episodes. I’ve watched it a couple of times and still cried along with you. Happy New Year ✨🤍

Happy New Year man, The Alex Karev switch has started to turn! Haha. Also, the way you feel about Meredith and Derek, is the way I feel about George and Izzy as separate characters.. those 2 somehow get on my nerves every single time, not so much on this episode, but in general throughout the first 2 seasons, Izzy and George drive me up the wall similar to how Mere and Derek drive you up the wall, so that's quite interesting to see the way you react to Derek and Meredith is eerily similar to the way I react to scenes with George and Izzy (this episode not included)

The Denny storyline is so beautiful and dramatic and heartbreaking. The Dizzy romantic chemistry is top tier and some really charming writing. Katherine Heigl's acting in these last few episodes were phenomenal. To this day, just the song "Chasing Cars" makes my sister and me cry thanks to this episode. RIP Denny.

Happy New Year, Mike. I hate that in spite of everything, Denny still died. I'm not really on Izzie's side because what she did was insane and she should be fired, but she quit instead. Little by little this is when we start to see that Alex can be a semi-decent person. I can't tell you how little I care about Meredith and Derek. Both Addison and Finn deserve better.

Denny and Finn deserved so much better... Also Addison, and Derek should've left her if he couldn't work on forgiving her and moving on (I personally know I couldn't forgive cheating) instead of giving her hope and dragging her along. Meredith fell in love with Derek quickly without knowing he was married so I give her the benefit of the doubt but I do not understand her begging him to choose her and then keeping the hope alive, Finn was her way of trying to move on from Derek but as soon as he looked at her "lovingly" (imo it's actually lustfully) and all of it fell through again AND she's still "the other woman" smh
