Rufus and Lily are put in an awkward situation when Dan invites Serena and her family to spend Thanksgiving with his family, Blair freaks out when she finds out that her father isn't coming home for the holidays, and Nate has an awkward Thanksgiving dinner with his family, which soon spirals out of control.

Nothing is better than a GG Thanksgiving Episode!!!

the whole Lily, Eric and Serena scene eating fries and just having a blast was so sweet to me. And I do understand Blair's mom thinking that Blair would've picked her dad instead of her for the holiday(s) cause they did have their own traditions and do seem closer in those flashbacks but them having that sweet moment in the kitchen and then just eating cookies and talking was amazing :')

The eating disorder was a pretty major plot point in the books for Blair if I remember correctly and I don’t remember how much it is referenced in the show, but oof, you were right, it did come out of nowhere. I think this episode might be my favorite episode so far! It has been a really long time since I’ve watched this show, so it’s almost like watching it all over again for the first time.
