A multiple trauma causes the tension between Burke and Cristina to come to a head. How much longer can Burke's secret remain hidden? Elsewhere, Alex surprises Addison when he displays an uncharacteristically sensitive side, and George tells Callie that he knows she slept with Mark, which results in Callie attacking Meredith in the locker room.

When my grandma was at a point at her dementia that she should no longer be driving, I had to have a hard conversation with my mom about taking her mom's keys away. It's heartbreaking to take away that kind of agency and my mom was struggling with it a lot. However, flashes of this episode were constantly running through my mind and I pushed. My mom knew she needed to be pushed though. Luckily, it all went over pretty smoothly in the end. Except when I went to visit my grandma a year later, she really really wanted to get behind the wheel and it went against all my good grandchild instincts to tell her "no, not even just out of the parking lot. I know this is your car I'm driving but you can't have the keys." It sucked but I stayed firm. Yet again, I was just thinking about that face full of glass and Mrs. Dickerson crying "what have I done." As to all the other stuff, I am once again reminded of an Emile Zola quote. "When truth is buried, it grows. It chokes. It gathers such an explosive force that on the day it bursts out, it blows up everything with it."

ehh Izzie to me shouldn’t be that upset with George, like yes girl you were in love with Denny, but you also cut his L vad, stole a heart for him and he did end up dying. and that’s George’s dad, so i understand him not wanting someone who clearly gets too involved and doesn’t make the right choices in his family’s business. idk like Izzie’s acting like she’s getting punished for nothing when in reality there’s no way she’d even be allowed to practice after what she did And Burke kinda pissed me off; it’s a running theme in their relationship that he moves her around kinda wherever he’s at like with them even being official, moving in together, he’s always making these leaps for both of them. and i do feel like it was a mutual decision, them doing the surgeries because while Christina was the was to be like “what if i hold the vessel” but you just had Burke being all “you need me to be Preston Burke *I* need me to be this”, he was moping around the house breaking mugs n shit. like Christina does have this like inflated sense of Burke, but so does he! like one of the reasons they work so well together is because they both have this godlike superiority complex. he likes being the great Preston Burke just as much as she likes being with him. so it was absolutely crazy that he blamed it on her, and then shut her out. like i think that was her final straw, like in her head Christina’s thinking like “i iced out Bailey for you, i’m breaking myself apart to learn your ATTENDING surgeries and then when you feel like you don’t need me you’re gonna blame me and cast me aside???” like damn he really proved that they weren’t a team to her, so she had to look out for herself just like he was. but hey if they didn’t fire Izzie who actually killed a patient, i can’t see why they’d fire Burke and Christina who didn’t lose one lmao

George annoyed me when he tried to throw the Mark thing in Callie's face...Y'ALL WERE BROKEN UP ALREADY. And what he did with Burke/Christina was messy but he does have a point, they're saying how he's the "best heart surgeon" but his hand kept shaking which did bring countless patients into danger And then being shocked with Callie asking about his dad when she has literally been sweet to everyone and been there for everyone, especially with Addison.

George calling Cristina and Izzie out was wild. I wasn't prepared for it. Also Burke was way out of pocket with Cristina, he was a willing participant in this whole mess.
