ugh this episode gets me every time😭 i grew up a jehovah’s witness and they practice shunning too. they call it disfellowshipping and it’s ridiculous. i’ve got people i grew up, childhood best friends who won’t speak to me now simply because i no longer follow the doctrine. it’s cult shit and it tears families apart. so my heart breaks especially for the best friends in this episode. 23 is disgustingly young to have cancer. with the double proposals- i honestly feel like both couples aren’t ready! lmao Burke and Christina just went how long without even having a conversation?? and he thinks now is a good time to get married?? idk they’ve been together a minute, but i still feel they are no where near ready to get married. and i feel like Burke has a tendency to rush things like with them moving in together, and this just feels too fast again. And George and Callie have a) been together for like two seconds and b) my poor guy is literally grieving his biggest loss ever like how is NOT the time to be making any kind of permanent decision😭😭

and that's how Miranda Bailey got her groove back! Her giving them the paper and yelling "SIGN THEM" twice at them had me cackling, and I love the way we got an Miranda x Izzy link-up. George is definitely just doing anything to find a way to cope with his dad's passing so it definitely isn't the right time to propose even tho I do believe he loves her

You had me cracking tf up 🤣

"I guess they're cute" HA, the thing about merder for me is that they're cute when they're allowed to be together, they're both deeply flawed and kind of annoying apart (mostly because when apart they can only focus on one another, even when they're trying their best, but once together they have the bandwidth to be their best individual selves and there for others) so when the writers let them be their chemistry shines but the writers needlessly overdramatise and it's really fucking annoying so I try to just enjoy when they get to be and roll my eyes through the bullshit forced drawn out angst and hope it's worth it for when they are together after working through things.
