In 1960s Baltimore, dance-loving teen Tracy Turnblad (Nikki Blonsky) auditions for a spot on "The Corny Collins Show" and wins. She becomes an overnight celebrity, a trendsetter in dance, fun and fashion. Perhaps her new status as a teen sensation is enough to topple Corny's reigning dance queen and bring racial integration to the show.

The whole time I was wondering if you were familiar with John Travolta, ha. Can’t unsee it once you know. I think Inez singing in Run and Tell That is one of my fav song moments. All of Queen Latifa’s songs are up there too, I Know Where Ive Been is so beautiful

Turn Up the Mike

Yeah I definitely will rewatch this and only see John Travolta lol. I gotta learn the name of the songs cuz I only know how they sound lol I enjoyed all the music though!

Tess McCarthy

Run and Tell That is one of my favorite songs and Elijah Kelley (Seaweed) is so cute. If you're looking for another awesome movie with him, I would recommend Take The Lead from 2006. It's about ballroom dancing, not a musical but I still think you would really enjoy it! And Queen Latifah is always amazing. Not sure if you've seen Chicago, but that would be another great musical reaction 😊

Just curious but do you think you'll ever do the Hamilton musical? It's a stage play so it's going to be all music but it's such a great story and the music is all bops

Obsessed with Travolta as Edna. I hope AI gets advanced enough so I could change Travolta in all his movies into Edna 🥰
