you're right Lily's art collector or however you call them is the woman Rufus flirted/dated, that's how they met in the first place she was there to find art for Lily. Jenny walking to the bus stop with Dan so she can keep acting like she's going to school and then ditching but not realizing that she needs to worry about Blair too, like you're working for her mom and you know she doesn't like your ass. Blair trying to act hurt cause her mom needed Jenny and was happy to see her as if she wasn't just acting childish and making petty drama over a seating arrangement...like you know this is fashion week and your mom is stressed af about the show. then she pulls the stunt with the models and the dress...like at some point you have to grow up if you want to be taken seriously. I usually live for her drags and "takedowns" but in this episode she kinda irked me. and I agree with you that Serena hasn't been the best of friends to Blair recently

Honestlyyyy I love Blair to death but this is one of those times where I appreciate when Serena gets to react to her the way a normal person would. Blair is consistently unreasonable and ridiculous just because she's hurt like... Serena did nothing wrong? And turning down fun or cool once in a lifetime opportunities because she's worried about how Blair will react if she's getting more attention is in fact stupid AND dimming her light - if it was her mum picking Serena over Blair fine, but it's Serena and her friends and it's about their social capital not Blair vs Serena? She's not hurting Blair, and everyone including her mother and friends were encouraging her to take a cool opportunity and saying Blair would be mature and happy for her yet Serena was still worried and trying to include Blair and spend time with her since she knows that's a main reason Blair was upset, and I fully get Serena eventually being TIRED of walking on eggshells around Blair. We love Blair but she would be an exhausting friend, and despite understanding her and how she's going to react I get Serena being like I'm trying my best and it's not enough so fuck it I'm doing what I want. Blair is messing with her mum's business and everyone putting on a high end fashion show because she's upset Serena is watching instead of being backstage with her? AND then continues to sabotage it? Petty drama is fun but Blair needs to grow up sometimes.

Sameee!!!! I usually live for Blair's ridiculousness but this is one where I'm with Serena... like Sernea usually has to do the most to justify Blair and her schemes and be understanding and cautious of how Blair in her own Blair world might take things... and in a situation like this where Serena was still trying to consider Blair even when everyone was like literally "why would she be upset?" "she'll be mature!" and then Blair takes it out on Serena... over a seating arrangement when Serena still tried to include her and consider her AND do a favour for her mum and have a fun time? Blair was doing too much this episode.

Listen... I get more irritated with Jenny than most characters sometimes but this is one of the times I honestly empathise with her, and maybe it's growing up watching this as a teen, but she's found something she's genuinely good at, earned her position which is unheard of for someone her age, at a top known fashion brand - meanwhile she's been severely bullied at school, is afraid to attend, her dad doesn't see how the classism impacts her mental health and well being and he's not being remotely understanding. Her skipping and lying is all insane for sure, but Rufus not even trying to see what might've driven her to that place and valuing how good she is doing, and that (not to be ungrateful) she never asked to go to this expensive private school? Rufus' handling just pisses me off a little, there had to be a way to ground her to the ends of the earth but also empathise with how she feels and what might be better for her mental health, wellbeing, and career. It's not like she's being irresponsible even, she was just not respecting the fact that she's 15, and Rufus wasn't respecting how significant what she was doing was... like ground her AFTER the headline fashion show maybe?

I'm usually 100% on Blair's side, or at least see it from her pov but this is one of the few times when her reasons weren't reasonable enough for the amount of sabotage she tries to pull at a major event. Serena didn't do enough to warrant her antics this episode. Serena and Blair were on fine terms besides the girls at school following Serena that week, and then Blair literally did all this over a SEATING PLAN. Blair's best friend got offered the chance to watch a fashion show front row with some friends, and Blair had a meltdown... this wasn't a layered case of her mum choosing Serena, or Serena not thinking of or trying to include Blair, the layer to me is what Jenny says about Blair working hard and Serena naturally floating through and eclipsing her, that is a complex dynamic within their friendship - but Serena actively tries to pull back and NOT shine brighter than Blair. Serena literally hadn't even said yes, she went to Blair first and Blair freaked out at her. Idk, I get what you're saying, I empathise with how Blair is feeling, and no outsider like Poppy is going to get it... but also sometimes it take someone new to be point out patterns of accepting treatment that's not fair to you and Blair can be unfair if she feels hurt. Serena's delivery was a bit brutal, but so was Blair's so idk.

Yeah Blair and her antics are usually so fun to me but I had to look at her sideways for that moment 💀

I love that Dan named Chuck’s character in his story Charlie Trout, like, Dan’s not even trying to be covert 😂
