To be fair Nate has always had a soft spot for Jenny even in s1. He helped her several times when she was in a bad situation and they had some sweet deep conversations but yeah I get what you're saying.

the Nate + Jenny situation is messed up because like J said he dated Vanessa and is friends with her brother, and yeah it is weird for that reason but the age difference isn't that big in my opinion. And he has cared for Jenny for a while now, she keeps calling him for help when she's in trouble and feels like Dan wouldn't understand or would rat her out to her dad just like he did in this episode. And you're absolutely right about Serena and Aaron, like it took you so long to decipher his fuckass riddle and realize that you already know him, then when she went to talk to him she saw him leave with a girl AND when she wanted to date him then he had a girlfriend...like MOVE ON and stop obsessing girl, he ain't shit. Jenny's guerrilla fashion show was such an iconic moment and while Rufus was in the right for being mad at her for lying to him once again but he went overboard with wanting to call the cops especially when Bart + Lily weren't offended by it. your distain towards Agnes from the moment you've seen her has me cackling

I get Dan feeling betrayed by Nate but again I'm like, Dan why would anyone actually talk to you or approach you, especially when you betray them the minute it doesn't align with your judgy self righteous ass view? I always thought Dan was a dick for how he acted with Nate if he actually cared about him. The overprotective brother trope thing is dumb to me when... they're literally both in highschool and Nate is a good dude... like what's wrong with Nate and Jenny liking eachother? AND Nate has so much real shit going on in his life and he's vulnerable and messy so for Dan to use that against him the moment it's not him pitying/sympathising with Nate (much like with Blair last episode, Serena not living up to his expectations, now Nate, and Chuck with publishing a revealing traumatic story he has n right to share) ... Nate wasn't creeping on Jenny in the apartment or anything he's just a cute senior whose always been nice for her, they developed little crushes on eachother and then she kissed him, he took a week to think away from her and helped her in this ep in the heat of the moment and realised it was real. Dan needs to chill imo, I get where he's coming from but his reaction - and Rufus' are just wildly disproportionate to me. If anything Vanessa I think has the most right to be upset as Jenny is her friend and she had real feelings for Nate.

Nate and Serena are just two peas in a pod to me lmao. Hopeless romantics and serial monogamists looking for the best in everyone. They're just pretty nice charming loveably messy dummies lmao. Meanwhile Blair and Chuck are an iconic scheming comedy gold dynamic duo. Upper East side core four and they bring all the drama for us lol.

Nate and Jenny was always one of my favorite ships. The chemistry was unmatched.
