Derek has four sisters. Amelia is the youngest and at this point in time, she's on Private Practice, that's why you haven't met her yet. There's a whole history with Amelia that gets showcased on Private Practice that's very impactful.

I didn't like April last season, but I gained a lot of respect for her by standing up for herself and shutting everyone down. Like they're really making fun of her for being a virgin? How childish.

I think we met one other sister of Derek’s. Back in the days when they were dating early on and Derek was living in that trailer, remember Meredith walked in on Derek and thought his sister was a woman he was sleeping with lol. I can’t remember that sister’s name but she had super short hair and was so rude to Meredith!

It always bothers me that Amy doesn’t get to see Cristina’s brilliance here but I’m glad Derek stands up for her

Derek and Cristina really get me this ep:( I love that he’s looking out for her and so grateful to her for saving him but I’m sure he also feels guilty for how much she’s suffering now as a result of that surgery, and Cristina having operated with a literal gun to her head probably feels resentment too that she is in this place now

I absolutely how Derek was trying to help out Cristina it is so cute. So sad to see her suffering so much.... I absolutely loved April🤣🤣🤣🥹🥹🥹 she was amazing with that speech. I truly don't know why it was something to be teased about. I was such a late bloomer people would get shocked but not be teasing and stuff that was weird. Great reaction friend🥹♥️

This is probably one of my more favorite episodes of the season. The wart case is so interesting and heartbreaking; I've never seen anything like it. I also love the introduction of Amy especially for later plotlines. We do eventually meet all 4 of his sisters throughout the series; I enjoy Amy she has her moments :)

Derek is the oldest of five siblings. He has four younger sisters. We met the oldest one Nancy in season two briefly. Amelia is the youngest. The other two are Kathleen and Lizzie. We meet Lizzie in season nine and Kathleen in season 15
