Mike this is the episode that nearly broke me! I cried soooooo hard. THE ACTING WTF

Anna

Yeah the way this show escalates from season to season but then within this season itself is crazy. There really is no other word but speechless. I cry EVERY time I watch the ending scenes of this one

Sash Sriganesh

It’s so complicated because we get mad at everyone who gets mad/betrays Georgia and feel so hurt by it as viewers because we feel for Georgias character so much but she definitely did murder all those people😅

This is my first time watching the show. I got so teary eyed. I need to know what happens next. Also I don’t trust Wolfe. I don’t know why.

SkyS

Ginny punching Press is the best thing ever!!!!

SkyS

I wouldn't say the writing is horrible friend. Noe that I think back to it some of the guys I was friends with were actually so horrible like absolutely horrible but because you were friends with them you never actually got it as bad as other people so it was best to just be with friends with them..... Yeah I actually hate thinking about it to be honest

T

This episode is INSANE. Literally an emotional rollercoaster.

SkyS

But Zion would it have been a bad thing if Georgia killed her step dad. That guy was a piece of shit

SkyS

I am so so disappointed in Zion like why..... He hated Gil but he wanted Austin to be with him.... Like what the actual hell..... Yhooo no I can't with Gil. This episode was so truly heartbreaking 💔💔💔

SkyS

I always say episode 3 is the calm before the shitstorm😭

SkyS

But the thing is friend Zion knows Georgia..... He knows how much she loves the kids.... I am mad at Zion. And yes exactly how do you brush over the fact that you child was molested and you mad at the person that protected her..... Like why would he think Georgia is cold blooded..... I'm mad at Zion. I don't care.... I'll probably forgive him but damn he grits my teeth here

SkyS

And also Zion telling Georgia about how she was about to kill her step father..... He needed to die.....

SkyS

No this episode went were I never thought it will ever go.... Like shit is hitting the fan

SkyS

I’m not gonna lie, that scene completely turned it around for me and made me hate Zion. I had a rose colored glasses perception of him because of how intellectual and calm he is and him being there for Ginny and always respecting Georgia, it didn’t occur to me that he completely abandoned both her and Ginny in pursuit of his own dreams, which inadvertently put Georgia into more risky desperate situations and therefore Ginny in danger, and only decided to be present again once Georgia was already stable—to then have the GALL to TEAR APART their family fabric and put an extremely traumatizing situation for the kids being separated from their mother during a time that is incredibly hard for them. I get that we know more about Georgia than everyone else so we can’t hold them to the same expectation, but it’s the fact that it hit me that Zion was never angry enough. Not angry enough that Georgia was beat and sexually abused by her stepfather, just ‘haunted’ by the very RATIONAL thought that she would have wanted to kill the man that destroyed her mind, her body, her agency, her childhood. If I was Zion, I’d have killed him myself. At the very least, done everything to protect her, including putting him in jail after beating the shit out of him and then some. So, aside the murder aspect, when Ginny basically admitted Kenny was intending to ALSO sexually abuse her, it went completely over Zion’s head. Like where is your rage? Your concern lasted for two seconds. And yes KILLING Kenny wasn’t the answer objectively but the idea that Zion took that context and was like “yea Georgia is sooo dangerous and cold blooded I have to separate her daughter from her, who she would obviously die to protect” he damn well knows Georgia well enough to know she’s not capable of harming her own children who she only lives for, yet he decided to tear apart the family fabric instead of trying to keep it together just because he felt betrayed that he didn’t know Georgia’s past as well a he thought he did. Yeah Zion maybe if you didn’t leave her in the dump to fend for herself with your daughter while you went backpacking in Europe doing soul searching freely enjoying life with 0 weight of the responsibility of parental care falling on your shoulders she wouldn’t have been in flight or flight kill or be killed mode 24/7 whilst simultaneously trying to move up the socioeconomic ladder in pursuit of trying to give her kids a good life. I realized his privilege. He didn’t even try to assess the situation fully before ripping them apart. If he had any ounce of critical thinking here, he’d be like “hm, maybe I shouldn’t jump to separating them. The kids are safe together and at home, let me go there and stay with them just to make sure and to support them. Yeah maybe I shouldn’t let Austin go with Gil, maybe there’s a REASON Gil was kept away from Austin in the first place.” Nope🙃 it made me realize that in his own way, Zion can never truly understand Georgia’s position and what she went through that led to this and how that trauma can pass down, and he was privileged to not be able to understand what it’s like to live in the world contextually as a woman who was failed by society and grew up poor. It doesn’t justify Georgia’s actions, but what she did wasn’t black and white and he didn’t even bother to ask himself what circumstances could have driven her to make the decisions she did.
