Jeremy goes against Elena's wishes when he offers to help Damon and Alaric deal with Katherine - but he does not anticipate what is involved. Sheriff Forbes and Caroline open up to each other as they share some rare quality family time. Bonnie accidentally finds out new information about Mason which leads to Damon taking matters into his own hands.

That’s why she annoyed me trying to kill him because like you are the one that convinced him to give her his blood in the first place. And the car crash wouldn’t have even happened if she had actually despelled the watch. It wasn’t just one persons fault. I understand why she is upset but like please be reasonable, these are your best friends.

Wtf was Paul Wesley digging up during that scene my god. One of the most genuine cries I've ever seen. I really don't like that he was essentially tortured in acid for 10 minutes and then had to go through a breakup and likely cry himself to sleep on the same day. Wish they gave him time to have a good moment or gesture between those two things. You might have noticed or notice in future that when characters go through something major, a character or two will try to make them feel better. Won't spoil of course but Stefan is done so dirty and expected to put up with so much. I'd be crashing tf out if I was him.

stefan: he meant that as a question... with a please on the end. lmfao. funny stefan is rare but cracks me tf up with the delieveyr. damon being all strong and thinking he's hot shit knowing what's up and just salting the wound pissing off katherine further, because she already knew and hadn't done anything to Jenna *until* she was provoked into reacting, like... he and jeremy are some of the most annoying instigative brother types who think they're invincible sometimes smh. we love to roll our eyes at them though.

No I definitely feel bad. Mason literally of all the characters or "villains" was the least awful, his only crime was trying to kill damon and stefan after damon tried to kill him after faking peace. his last moments and his death were like... egregiously violent.

I think we have to remember, since Bonnie does annoy me a bit during this season, is the issue for her is that she doesn't *trust* vampires, she's still coming to terms with things and figuring out how to handle it (and Damon's blasé attitude doesn't help because it riles her up lol). And she has trauma from her Grams dying because at the time Bonnie tried to help and work with vampires. So yea she's willing to work with them to help others sometimes, but it also feels like they always win, or end up ok, and then she has another person who she loves and trusts (Caroline) now become something she doesn't trust and it's another thing she has to come to terms with -- and it's only been a few months (we're still in the same school year as season 1)... SO it's a lot to be coming to terms with. I try to remind myself of this in moments where she feels kind of holier-than-thou.

Gosh that breakup scene is sooo emotional and angsty. "wires" the song in and of itself is so emo, and then you have the chemistry and the way Elena and Stefan feed off of one another's energy, they're so attentive and try to like take one anthers' pain, and Stefan is in so much agony and it's genuinely just such a gut-wrenching scene. Like the *acting* and the details. The way Elena turns away and shakes her head like fuck, but= she can't help but turn back to kiss him. T

Nahhh the scene where Elena & Steffan break up frl always has me in tears 😭 but Katherine was frl doing too much lorddd but I love you onnn to the next ep w youuuu
