There are a lot of reasons I love Delena. I will not get into that rn. But one of the reasons is I think they just have always had better chemistry than Stelena. A big part of that is cause they were obviously together in real life but I just think their chemistry is amazing.I loved all the Delena scenes in last ep and this ep. They are always great bc of their chemistry. I am not a big Tyler fan personally. I like him but I def like other characters more. But it is always interesting to me that some people like him more than Damon when what he did to Vicki in the series premiere was really bad. I just think that detail is forgotten. I like him now. But I just will never forgive him for that like I will never forgive Damon for killing Lexi and all the Caroline stuff in S1. Just my opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own and this is mine. This is just how I feel and my opinions. I understand that everyone might not agree with me and that is fine. But this is just how I feel about it.

I agree!! I love Tyler’s arch in season 3 a lot but I always look at him a bit differently because of how he was with girls and Vicki in particular was so gross to me. But I like him with Caroline during this period so I get conflicted 😂😫

When you piece together the amount of self improvement Stefan has committed to, it really makes you appreciate his gentleness more. He is incredibly strong-willed to bury this supernatual malfuction to honour his principles. It makes seeing him happy a lot more special, especially on a rewatch.

This episode is always so crazy to me because the writers are wild for making a gay character basically do conversion therapy on his own daughter 💀 Also you probably recognize Rebekah from PLL, she was Samara who Emily dated for a bit

What's interesting about the "ripper" aspect is the analogy for addiction, the show treats it as if it's a supernatural addiction, Stefan is an addict, and it's an interesting layer to Stefan's character imo because it's... awful, when he's not sober he's worse than any other vampire, like inhumanly monstrous to the point of not being himself... but it's also so tragic because as Emily put it "even in death your heart is pure, and that will be your downfall". SO he's a ripper, who has the deepest morality and guilt.

AGH Rebekah. The 20s. Such an iconic episode!!!! S2-3 are just such memorable seasons to me, like peak CW television was tvd S1-3.

I do find it particularly funny how they made such a big fuss about Elena finally turning 18 at the start of this season as Damon the grown adult man starts officially pursuing her (not that he hasn't already snuck in and sexually assaulted her in her room, and crossed boundaries, and been handsy already)? IDK just something I find... interesting.
