I loved Ben and Bailey this episode. Her ex was such an asshole and didn’t understand her career and her life. Always giving her ultimatums and shit. But Ben knows her and loves her for exactly who she is and she so deserves that!!

Idk Mike I have some empathy and patience for Cristina because regardless of her making the VERY wrong decision of staying with Owen I think it’s an emotionally complicated decision for Cristina. Like even though she’s such a strong and smart character I feel like Owen is her weakness and her vulnerability, and realistically it’s so complicated even for strong women to leave toxic/abusive relationships sometimes

This is my same sentiment with their relationship. They have a serious trauma bond and honestly it just gets worse from here. I also wonder if Owen is her first real love; she seemed to love him more and harder and possibly her longest relationship (at least in the storyline we get). Owen distracted her and really tried to change her into what his version of what a woman and wife should be. He's so stuck on having kids that no matter who he's with, it's his rhetoric and he just continues to force it

I know you love having the chat while streaming but it would be nice if you could clue us in on conversations that take your attention away. I watch another streamer and she'll take a moment and discuss the comments when they cause her to burst out laughing. It just helps us connect and feel like we're part of the live too. And you're a yapper anyway (❤️❤️) so it wouldn't distract from the actual recording. Not a dig or anything just a kind suggestion so people aren't lost especially if they aren't able to catch you live.

I totally get what you mean, and I appreciate how kindly you suggested this! ❤️ I can definitely see how me randomly bursting out laughing at something in the chat could leave people watching later like “???? what happened” 😂 The only tricky part is that when I watch episodes live, I actually can’t pause them because of how I have to record/sync everything afterward. Stopping to explain a random joke, GIF, or comment every time would make that process a nightmare 😭 And honestly, I think I only have a big reaction to the chat a handful of times during an episode anyway, so usually it’s just a quick little live-only moment that I see and keep moving. BUT if I see something especially relevant that I can quickly repeat without interrupting the episode, I can definitely try to clue y’all in! I probably won’t be able to do it for every random thing I laugh at, but I do tooootally understand where you’re coming from. ❤️

Oh I definitely understand that it’s realistic! I know that even incredibly strong/smart people can have a very difficult time leaving toxic relationships, and obviously in real life I’d have WAY more empathy and patience for someone in Cristina’s position. I’m just much more ruthless with fictional people when I’m reacting sometimes lmao. Part of my frustration too is that we already watched Cristina lose herself to an extent with Burke, and now 8 seasons in I’m watching her beg Owen to stay after everything that’s happened and I’m just like GIRL WE ARE STILL DOING THIS?! 😭 So my “I don’t feel bad for you, STAND UP!” reaction is really coming from being exhausted watching a character I love go through this kind of thing again. And that’s why by the end I was coming for Shonda and the writers and not Cristina herself. I don’t actually think Cristina is dumb or horrible. It’s because I love her and know the woman she is that watching this has me ready to climb through the damn screen and wring her neck 😂

I don’t like how immediately after breaking up with Cristina, Owen goes straight to Teddy and tries to make nice with her. I felt like he was choosing Teddy over Cris and Teddy quite literally hates him. Ew!
