justice for Aqua,

Toto deserves top billing,

I only like this movie for the songs ngl

Great reaction, Mike. This was definitely cheesy, but the songs still slap. Now if you ask most fans of the franchise, they'll tell you the second film is the best. The storyline is less corny (still some cheesiness, but not as much as the first film) and the songs are just as good, if not better.

Fun facts: Before they were in the Cheetah Girls, Adrienne Bailon (Chanel) and Kiely Williams (Aqua), were in an actual girl group named 3LW with Naturi Naughton who did her own thing in the remake of Fame and her most recent work in the show Power. Sabrina Bryan (Dorinda) was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars right after the second film came out. Raven was putting in work in 2003 because she was filming this and the first season of That's So Raven that year.

Interesting fact: The actress for Drinka was actually born male and is transgender so she’s apart of the LGBTQIA+ community 🏳️‍🌈✨

Your reaction to this cracked me UP! And yesss, the songs SLAP lol. Watching this as an adult now, the performances still hold up! I’m really impressed at how them girls was eating up the choreo haha they were ahead of their time

I’m just finishing this reaction video and I’m glad you didn’t hate it Mike🫶🏾 Back in the early 2000’s Disney used to talk about real shxt. They weren’t scared to show kids real things and that’s what I miss. It was more relatable than now. I think if you haven’t seen it yet, you should do Lemonade Mouth. It brought some of that realness back. Also I had the Cheetah Girls books that the movie is based off of and Aqua had a present dad and a twin sister who was also apart of the singing group. Think it was “Aquanette & Anginette”. Anyway thinks for the reaction and vibez 💕
