babyy everyone LOVED clexa. the show really teased/played with the idea of them a LOT on socials back then, just for them to kill her right after we get that beautiful scene. EVERYONE was pissed cause it felt really queerbaity and that's also a big reason why everyone was so mad/quit at the time. #clexadeserveredbetter but as to why specifically i dont know, saw someone mention in ur earlier post that it was bc she was busy with another show but idk, it was about the way they killed her for me. cheap and not really meaningful at all, everyone was on the writers ass for this too

of all the horrible deaths that fall into the bury your gays trope (and there are tons), this has to be the most disrespectful and poorly done ones. yay let’s kill the lesbian with a stray bullet right after she finally has sex with her love interest. the creator and people involved in the show also dealt with the backlash horribly and the response is honestly the main reason i stopped the show.

I think what Octavia meant when she was talking to Indra was to get revenge specifically on taking out Pike and motivating Indra to help her with that - since Lexa's ultimatum was kill the inner leadership in Skaikru or die. And Octavia is willing to fight Bellamy to do this. But when she was talking to Clarke, she actually cares about the rest of Skaikru people and keeping them alive, even though she aligns with a more grounder identity.

I understand why the actor had to leave, but yes the way they killed her is SUCH a disrespect. They could have even had her assassinated but no, she dies being accidentally shot by Titus? You're telling me they couldn't have scripted something better in...

totalllly agree about how we are able to see the perspectives of multiple sides! I love the themes present about life and death and who is "right" vs. "wrong" -- I think that's why I love your reactions so so much, because you are so emotionally intelligent and seriously invested in the characters and the storytelling choices. I really hope you watch through to at least season 5 (this show doesn't exist to me after that season 😐), but season 3 is complete RAGEBAIT, even though I fear the costumes and settings make up for it

It would’ve been so cool to see Clarke be the commanders badass wifey. Lexa was truly the best part of this show for me and OF COURSE she dies right after they consummate their relationship😭😭 and yes everyone loved Clexa(except maybe Bellarke shippers🙄). Her death was LAZY WRITING. A stray bullet?? Come on.

Lexa was extremely loved and Clexa started a girls love convention back in the days it was called clexacon so its not doubt clexa meant alot to so many people but I do believe they actress who was playing Lexa wanted to pursue FTWD instead which unfortunately meant she could not make both roles work due to scheduling and filming conflicts and because the walking dead franchise is so big she choose that instead . but Lexa death truly affected alot of us and I still cant get over it one of the best female charactors ever written in television and they just killed her in the dumbest way possible.

just got to your comment on Jasper, and I think I made that argument last video -- totally hear you, I think I have just written so much 100 fanfiction in the last decade where I've probably ended up filling in some blanks myself... so, I think I respect the writing more for what it's ended up causing me to teach myself about characters and their actions rather than its own execution LOL

I still mourn what clarke and lexa’s storyline could’ve turned into but if they were gonna kill her they should’ve had her die in battle or sacrifice herself… literally anything other than this!
