Your reaction was alright :) It's worse when people talk too much and miss some crucial moments. Well, maybe you didn't like some of the parts, but there was not that much yawning :D I love this movie and love that it drags some time, because this is space, everything is slow and takes ages in there. All the practical stuff and shots from the hood of spacecraft, it makes you feel like there and the music is so grandioze and piercing. Oh, and that moment of looking through the tapes and when Murph appears when she is the same age when he left... I haven't watched many movies with McConaughey, but i think he was brilliant in this one. The ending maybe was a little bit strange. Yeah, i know it was a reunion, but after everything that happened it felt a bit too sterile and peaceful. I know, strange thoughts. But i liked they send him to Brandt, that's what he would do, the explorer. And i think you are right about the station. It had a lot of docks and little shuttles to send to the surface. It also served as a centrifuge to create a gravity when spinning around its axis.
