Hey Wizards!
Shady Character One here!
I am starting to believe that winter is just not a good time for work. Year after year, this is when the progress on any of my projects grinds to a halt. Well, more or less. I am presently at a point in my life when I can power through slumps on discipline and a feeling of responsibility, but even they can only do so much. At least things are not as dire as they were last year when I barely managed to do anything. This time, December and even some weeks of January and February were pretty productive for me. But those were spontaneous bursts of productivity. Most of the time I just want to sit in front of my computer and eat sweets instead of doing something useful.
Shady Two shares these sentiments more or less. But at least she started an online course to amp up her background drawing. I am genuinely not sure if she needs something like that, but that's artists for you. I do try to let her do her thing and not push her in one direction or another, even though some might say that this is not the most efficient way of developing a game (and I am pretty sure it isn't), but I still try to keep this as a passion project. And you cannot force passion.
What I am leading to is that there's no real juicy update on this week's progress. I have made some progress with Aisling's date, but just like Elizabeth's, it needs both artwork and an outfit update for Aisling, so its actual inclusion in a working build will have to wait. I did write two more events for the Brewing class, one of which even made Shady Two giggle. Score! And Shady Two did some more work on Gwen's and Violet's sprites. They still don't have their mantles done, so that's something that needs to be addressed.
That's it for this week's update, I guess.
Shady Character One, out!
