I really love the extra vibrancy in the colours you’ve been using lately, this is so beautiful. I never seem to be able to get the technique right when I try to paint watercolour style. Any pointers?

In actual watercolours or digital ones? For both though, one of my main thing at the moment is translucency. Use layers - or brushes - that leave the white of the paper shining through (or convey the illustion of it). The shading here was done with the glazing brush from my latest set, so it's very transparent.
