Minor spoiler for books 2 and on: Shallan develops multiple personalities for multiple situations, and their taste in men differs, making matters a little complicated sometimes. 😂 They sometimes seep in, or even take over, when she sketches. The personality with a lot of interest in Kaladin is Veil, sketched top right.

Told myself to wait until I get to this part to comment but I CAN’T. (Also if I’m not mistaken, this is your interpretation of a sketch Shallan does that she can’t show Adolin so I’m not so sure there is this part to get to? This is why I should read the book first LOL) Even if it’s not on the page, I’m choosing this to be my headcanon bc aaahhhh, this is just so delightfully scandalous in a way that is perfect for Shallan, haha. I am glad there is some wavering on her end before she puts a ring on Adolin. 😆 The strategic censoring with her hand is so funny and I absolutely love your Gaz!

Love the detail with the passionspren by Adolin! And yes, the strategic placement of the safehand... 😂

How far into the books are you? This is mid-Oathbringer, I think. And yes, the sketch is only very vaguely alluded to, and that’s all we get about it. ;)

I painted in some shamespren with the Kaladin sketch, but those totally threw off the colour scheme 😂
