It's funny how much this piece turned from illustrating a feeling while listening to an audiobook to illustrating everything *I* feel whenever I'm in Cornwall. It's done this painting a world of good, too. 

"And his heart was filled with longing", watercolours on Bockingford Torchon paper, 21x31 cm. 

The paper let me down at the very last instant, ripping when I peeled off the masking tape! It's clearly not meant for either masking fluid or tape. I managed to salvage the gulls under their masking fluid, but really just barely. Why does every paper have to have one major letdown? *grumble*

What? Four years already?? Eru Almighty, that's unbelievable! When I think that I discovered your art due to a youtube discussion on who is the best Elven fighter in ME .... haha. :D And now? My walls and shelves are adorned with so many of your prints. I can't imagine not having your superb art and witty posts in my life anymore. And all the things you've shared with us here - good and bad. I think I become a bit sentimental. ^.^

Aw, man! I thought to myself, because of sea-longing, I was gonna go for a print of this...but I haven't looked at your print prices in a while and even with the discount it's a bit out of my budget right now! Sad! Maybe another time :) I need to be less broke so I can support more of my favorite artists more XD

I actually just decided that it looks better printed smaller, so it's now an A4 print at 10€ less than before. The paper structure didn't look good when printed at larger than the art is :)

I know I already commented on this on Wordpress, but it bears repeating that I really love the young and scruffy look of your Tuor. And just from looking at the landscape, I feel transported to a wonderful holiday by the sea!
