Two new patrons! Welcome, Anna and Bonnie!

Here are seventy-four packaged pins! Everyone in Germany and in the EU, your pins are going out tomorrow.  💛 💚 💙

(It took me five months, but I finally realised I can buy EU postage in bulk from the Deutsche Post website... just in time!!)

96 packages are left. I hope to fix them all up by Thursday at the very latest.

These packages you see up there are really sturdy, but good grief, they are a pain to assemble! I'll have them all used up within the next few months, I hope - and after that, I'm going to go green with all my packaging. I've found a shop that offers eco-friendly mailers and even compostable plastic sleeves for prints! It's so great to see how many alternatives there are, all of a sudden. And it all happened within a year here. A year ago, I started using reusable bags for loose vegetables and fruit at the supermarket; until winter, cashiers looked at me as if I wasn't right in the head - and suddenly, you can buy these bags in every supermarket. Etsy started offsetting carbon emissions from every order last year, too.

The only thing I need to get rid of now is the bubble wrap sleeves! But thanks to this weekend, I'm down to less than a hundred of those now, too. ;)

PL

Patiently waiting for mine to get to US!

Litsen

Amazing! You've been very productive! don't forget to take care of yourself <3

Jenny Dolfen

That's next in line, yes. Though packing pins is still a ton more relaxing than school is right now... !

If it makes you feel better about the bubble wrap, I always save and reuse it when I get things packaged that way. :) Also, shipping to the US was really fast, just over a week, on my last pin order.

Yay for less plastic! Personally, I wrap my things in walls of tissue instead of bubble wrap. I’m more afraid of the mail bending my prints, actually ;_;

"I've found a shop that offers eco-friendly mailers and even compostable plastic sleeves for prints!" - Do you have a link to that shop? I am very interested in it! :)

Jenny Dolfen

I'm using cardboard mailers and thick bookbinder's board - as far as I know, no postman has ever managed to bend one of them!

Jenny Dolfen

Wow, that is fast! Yes, these little bubble bags are quite handy and good to reuse. I sometimes use them in my schoolbag, even.

It's here, Maedhros is here. He is amazing <3 And with all "vielen dank" in the mix I have now my head full with the song "Vielen dank für die blümen" XD

Rebecca Bean

This is wonderful! I’m so glad this is going out! Note: I *just* moved. The address has been updated as of today. I don’t want something else to get lost in the mail. Not when so much work has gone into this beautiful thing!

Jenny Dolfen

Oh no - I'd already bought the label with the old address. :/ Will that one still reach you?
