I'm utterly in love with these colours. It's always a surprise to see the first finished painting after a few months without. The style is usually changed a little, and the colours turn out differently than I thought they would. And it's cool to see that all my landscape painting over the holidays paid off!

Oh woa! I love everything about it, and yes, those colours are wonderful! <3

Such a beautiful painting. The horse is gorgeous but Faramir is perfect. Just like I always pictured him when I read the books.

Love the colours of his outfit! :)

Ewa Kuczynski

What an incredibly beautiful illustration. You can really feel the bond between them.

Gosh, the colours are beautiful! For some reason I especially love the horse's forehead, it looks so soft and ... horse-like? Really great work, I love the softness of the background, makes it feels almost like an old memory. Faramir is one of my favourite characters, always happy to see him. <3

That horse looks so beautiful and sweet! Is this the one you did as a substitute for a pet portrait? I don't remember now 😅

Lyra

Aw, he looks so young! And slightly sheepish, as if he'd had an argument with the horse and the horse turned out to be right. ("I told you that was the wrong way!" - "Yes, all right, no need to rub it in!" :D)

Speaking of colours, what colours/paints did you mainly use here? :3

I also would love to know what your colors were for this painting, so lovely!

Is the original for sale? Edit- sorry I just caught up and saw this is a commission. Are prints available?

Jenny Dolfen

Hiya KBB! Nice to have you! =) I will make prints available as soon as I've worked off the backlog of book orders! ;)
