I can't take my eyes off the Feanorian house badge on the tack! Well I can, because Maedhros looks so young in his remorse and Fingolfin seems a bit thrown and the whole scene is gorgeous and angsty. Meanwhile, the horse is like all horses everywhere and is thinking, 'Treats! Where are the treats? Maybe if I nuzzle at this hand here...?'

It's actually a Fingolfinian (hard to draw and hard to see, I know), but the blues in the finished version will hopefully make it clear that Maedhros must have had the tack made for this occasion especially.
