Something I've never really tried before, but I really like where this is going. Heck, after twenty-five years of considering it, I might at some point paint the Music of the Ainur. =O

Yes, you should paint The Music of the Ainur. Use a really big canvas so you can get everybody in.

I cannot encourage you enough! I've also been following (lurking) for over a decade. My partner and I collected several prints from you over the years, and when she passed a couple months ago, I rearranged my bedroom to make all the prints into a focal wall. 💗 I'd LOVE to see some Valinor scenes and/or the Ainulindalë! I've always had such head canon for a friendship between Melkor and/or Mairon with Fëanáro and Maedhros. Before all the insane badness went down with the Silmarils.

Doh! Meant to type Nelyafinwë, not Maedhros. Same guy, but consistency in language! (Yay Qwenya?)

Outstanding. Yes, the original music is something you are finally ready to challenge.

Painting the music of the Ainur would be awesome! I have no idea how to do that though. But then I'm no painter, just a consumer. ;)

Along these lines, really - swirls with things taking shape in them. I could even blend together the three themes in different colours, with Melkor's contamination entering them. The more I think about it, the cooler it sounds.

OMG OMG OMG !! I'm so exciting about this project of yours :D

I love the effect of the glowing color. Beautiful.

Ahh, I'm terrible about commenting on here! This piece is so incredibly dynamic! I love it!!! It conveys so much movement and the ideas related to the music Fingon is performing are wonderfully visualised. Another must-have print for sure! XD I'm so happy to hear your hand-made harp worked out! Your atonement piece turned out so lovely as well! I can't imagine how you kept your cool when the first version was ruined. I would have lost it. XD

Ooh I love this!
