Their heroic and undaunted nature makes dormice naturally suited to the Paladin's calling, playing to their natural instincts to protect the weak and helpless, even if finding someone who is actually weaker and more helpless than the paladin may sometimes present a challenge.

Tragically, many a dormouse paladin has seriously misjudged who was weak or helpless, with desastrous consequences.

Yes, I'm sure Reepicheep is a paladin as well. ;) Though it helps to be a very large mouse. It's a little easier to find someone weak and helpless.

Barbarian should be fun. XD What animal companion might a dormouse druid have? A moth?

Ohh, I want so much to see more of this series! They are so adorable 😍

Joan Freeman

His wise advisor should be a praying mantis. 😀

Wiltraud Potrawa

Adorable, Jenny! What about a small dragonfly?

So cute! <3 Maybe a Mauerbiene (Osmia bicornis)? I've been watching them fly in and out of my insect hotel all week, so that's the first insect that came to mind.

Jenny Dolfen

Or maybe a bumblebee! (Might make sense to have an animal companion that can attack more than once =O)

A perfect series for times like these. We need heroes who, like us, are weak and helpless but manage to find it in themselves to be heroes anyway.

This is amazingly adorable. And "Dungeons and Dormice" is such a brilliant title for the series. For the animal companion: A bumblebee, perhaps? Very useful - they can even bring ingredients for magic potions!

I love this serie! It’s adorable and inspiring. (I immediately thought of Reepicheep when I saw this one!)
