And on we go - first Octoaster! Trying out smooth paper instead of my favourite rough ones, to see how the lifting works on this one.

If anyone had told me that I'd get into lifting at the age of forty-one, I wouldn't have believed them...  

Going to use loads of earth tones here - plus bright turquoise!

In the video below, you can see lifting off wet paint at 3:11, and re actual re-wetting and lifting around 6:05. :)

I really prefer drawing out with colour, though the technique worked well in a more thoroughly rendered piece like Loki. It didn't work on this paper, by the way. ;) You trained with Rebecca too? Cool, I didn't know!
