Watercolour and white gouache on Etival fine grain paper, A3 size.

It's done! Commission for Lisa, live streamed to a large degree on Youtube. It was great fun again last night! The link is still in last night's post below, and still works for me - can you still view it too? (Sorry about the three-way babble in the beginning!)

And I went back to the link for the live stream and I can still watch it :-)

It turned out lovely. I couldn't reply to the live stream, since I don't have a youtube account and don't know if I need one either, so I'll say a few things here. I really enjoyed the live stream, more than I expected, I atcually found it quite relaxing after a busy day. I liked seeing how the whole thing came to be. Looking at the final piece, I have to say how the white parts seem to blend in smoother and less sharp than they appeared to do yesterday.

Thanks Corine! I noticed that too - some things always look jarring in the video that look fine in the painting itself. Maybe the camera handles the bluetones in the next piece better! ;)

This is such a beautiful, serine picture. You can feel the joy in it!
