Guy in casino: "You're a collective? What do you do?"
Laudna: "We're, uuuh, traveling performers."
*moment of incredulous silence*
Orym: "I shoot out vines from my hand and start doing Cirque du Soleil shit upside down from the ceiling."

Plus prelim sketches from the doctor's waiting room.

Still working on getting used to medication, sigh. Taking things slow and listening to podcasts. Any suggestions, by the way? Preferably investigative stuff (including true crime)?

I'm just getting into watching/listening to Critical Role. I'm only on Ep 33 or 34 of Campaign 1. Feels like I'll never catch up! I'm always so late to the party! I went to their panel at San Diego Comic Con last summer, though, and sat there crying in the audience as Liam answered a question about grief that struck home. I had no idea what characters he was talking about, but I knew just from that panel that I needed to start watching.

It could be any of his characters, funnily. Of the three of them, Orym (campaign 3) is the one who can serve as the biggest role model. Vax is in a time of his life when grief and bitterness are still raw. Caleb (campaign 2) is frankly traumatized. Orym has been through tragedy and is consciously moving past it at the start of the story. <3

I really enjoyed the first season of Unobscured! American history stuff, but very interesting.
