I heard there were plans for a third film, but the VA for Ms. Bianca passed away before it could go into production and it didn't feel right to them to re cast her.

This movie I enjoy more, because of the vibrant landscapes of Australiia. While Medusa was more creepy, I found the Poacher to be a really good villain. John Candy played the voice of Wilbur-so that is why there were more scenes of him. As a person who had to go to the hospital a lot, that hospital freaked me out, as a kid, lol. Also Cody actually reminded me more of Steve Irwin than Jake. Blond, and a HUGE defender of animal rights! I really looked up to him as a kid. And I agree with Joanna. She is the star of the show! I found the egg scene hilarious. first time I watched it, too
