I love this episode so much. The contrast between Luz and Vee is understated, but still delicious. Luz has become someone who is perfectly comfortable around the monstrous and supernatural ("Cool, talking rats!"), while Vee, a monstrous, supernatural creature, is comfortable speaking to humans who terrify Luz while shrinking from anything that smacks of the Boiling Isles. Camila's line to Vee will never not make me tear up.

I don't know if you realized that Vee's species was also that of the fake inspector who attacked Hexside in Season 1.
