Pascal's Wager is actually a really bad argument and easily refutable. It's so bad it infuriates me when it's depicted seriously anywhere. 😆 The three more obvious counterarguments are: - Pascal's Wager assumes the existence of God is binary (he either exists or he doesn't; if you believe in him you either go to Heaven or nothing happens, if you don't believe in him you either go to Hell or nothing happens). However, this doesn't account for the possibility that OTHER gods exist. If you believe in the Christian God but the real God is a completely different entity, you might end up in a Hell equivalent as well. - You can't "choose" to believe. You either believe or you don't. If you decide to believe because it's advantageous to you: 1. You aren't really believing, you're making a conscious rational decision which has nothing to do with faith. 2. God might consider your supposed faith comes out of self-interest and not devotion, and send you to Hell either way. - Even if the previous two points weren't valid (let's assume that there is only one possible God, and that just the choice to "believe" would let you into Heaven in the case he exists); the Wager would still be wrong, because it postulates that "you have nothing to lose" because if God doesn't exist then there aren't consequences for you anyway. But there are, if you decide to live your life according to the rules of the religion you believe in, and then it turns out it was all a lie. I mean, sure, you won't ever learn the truth and realize your mistake, but you probably lost the chance to live a happier and freer life just in case you could go to Hell. Sheldon's wager in the episode makes more sense though. xD

You are correct Sheldon's dad didn't die (according to Sheldon in Big Bang Theory) until he was 14

I think one thing I love most about this show is we watched the kids grow up. Meemaw actress talks about how tiny they were in season 1. Real George is married, and has a baby. Her middle name is Rae-for Reagen-who is the name of the Missy actress. Full name, Emma Rae. They are just a sweet group

Also you are not the only one who enjoys Young Sheldon more than TBBT. TBBT is stuck in a comedy style show-so it can't do too much emotions. Young Sheldon gets to have that more, along with really funny moments
