There are a lot of thinks I like about this finale. Tbh I'm glad that everyone at the Hotel immediately knew that SOMETHING was up with Angel Dust, because like... Why else would he possibly go and shit talk the hotel? With how this episode went, I think I know what Season 3 is gonna focus on: Angel and Valentino, we need to get Angel back. I wonder if the show will also go through with the idea that anyone, even someone like Valentino, because he did get a bit of tenderness in last episode's "When I Think About The Future", and I think it would be a really bold move. Though, even if it was done well, it would probably drive a lot of people away, people tend to be much more sensitive to sex crimes and abuse than they are to other stuff. I also think Season 3 will focus more on Lute and Abel. Clearly, Lute saw at least a little of Adam in Abel when he hit her with the "Bitch, you better fall back!". But judging by the very end, she's still very much haunted (tho I'm sure she'd consider it being blessed) with her own visions of Adam. I hope Abel becomes more of a character and we maybe see Lute flitting back and forth between this figment of Adam in her head, and the Adam she saw in his son, Abel. I really love Alastor's stuff, as always. He managed to break out of his deal with Rosie, his deal with Vox, and then he managed to talk Rosie into another deal that benefitted him. I assume their new deal was as simple as "Rosie fixes Alastor's staff and returns him to full strength, and Alastor helps to stop the weapon from exploding and killing everyone", so I think he's fully off her leash now. I've also been thinking about Lilith since Season 1, and I think I have an idea. We know that she made some sort of a deal with Adam, and she got into Heaven. She started a rebellion, which gave Adam the means to convince Sera that the exterminations were necessary, and then she disappeared. I wonder if the entire rebellion was just to get Heaven's attention in the first place? I dunno... Really looking forward to Season 3!

Now that we've had both Adam and Abel, I'm actually quite curious if we'll get to see Cain, who Abel seems to be referring to when he says he isn't Adam's braver son. Also, he must certainly be in Hell, because otherwise he'd have been Adam's heir as head of the Exorcists (since he's older than Abel and probably more fit for the job).

To comment on something you mentioned - you said why don't they just have Pentious portal in from heaven? The way its been explained to me is that human souls (sinners and winners) are not able to traverse realms. Heavenborn and hellborn like the angels and Charlie, Vaggi, etc, can because they have no human soul since they were never human to begin with (presumably with Vaggi as well since she said Adam was the one that named her). This is also why Angels CAN be cast down to hell like Lucifer and why it's was believed redemption wasn't possible. Separate note regarding Nifty: when everyone at the end we're using their energy/magic or whatever to stop the cannon, its worth noting that it was only those with overlord-level powers (and Emily) who could do it. Baxter, Cheri, Angel, and Vaggi were not doing it. Nifty; however, was. That mixed with her strength to go toe to toe with Velvette, the Social Media Overlord lends to the belief that, like Husk, Nifty was once an Overlord before selling her soul to Alistor.
