Bernie's attitude rubbed a LOT of people the wrong way. When I first watched this, I didn't know if I wanted kids. I do, for sure, but it IS a very personal decision. However, how most were reacting is sadly accurate in today's judgmental society

I am childfree always will be, people say I have time to have kids and get a husband etc. It's like society still can't fathom a woman not wanting to go by Life's Script. One of my favorite YouTubers is a woman named Final Girl Digital, and she talks about the expectations of women in society through media. The male gaze and how we as woman are taught to fall in line and behave a certain and do certain things. I haven't watched this show all the way through before, and I really hope Penny doesn't get pregnant because it's like a spit in the face, like women are naive children that are incapable of knowing what they want.

I also struggle on whether I want kids or not, and at this point (I'm 31) I feel like it will wind up depending on who I'm dating and how they feel about it, because I think I'd probably be ok with both outcomes. Right now I'm dating a trans woman so if we wanted to have kids together we'd have to adopt, and neither of us plans to in the foreseeable future but it's not completely out of the equation either.
