To answer some of your questions: All For One did indeed steal Tenko Shimura's original Quirk, and gave him an inferior copy of Overhaul, that could only destroy, not restore. It's not revealed in the show, but in the final data book, it's revealed that Tomura Shigaraki's original Quirk was the yellow rings that both AFO and Tomura both used to fly. Makes sense, since his grandmother's Quirk was "Float". We also got All For One's name in the data book! He named himself Zen Shigaraki, Zen being the character for "All". As for Deku's embers... I think they'll probably last a decent while? All Might's didn't last too long, but you've got to keep in mind that he had multiple instances in a very short timespan where he was forced to not only use 100% of his power, but also to go beyond (Plus Ultra), which rapidly decreased what he had left. Even using just 5-8% of One For All, Deku was a force to be reckoned with during the Stain and Overhaul arcs, so I think as long as he doesn't need to go all out, he could keep them for a while.
