I've always been reluctant to learn to drive, and might never do it unless it becomes a necessity or a huge advantage, and I quite empathized with Sturgis here. Traffic already puts me on edge when I'm a pedestrian, so I'm really not looking forward to experience it as a driver. Also, I'm pretty sure I'm neurodivergent (even though I don't have a diagnosis) and both Sheldon and Sturgis seem to be too; so I wonder how frequent it is for neurodivergent people to struggle with driving.
