Strongest emotion? Book 3 Rebecca and MC remembering the birthday party. Right to the feels.

A moment that always replays in my mind is A’s moment at the end of book 1 when holding the detective and the realization that they are starting to fall for them and how A realizes how much they want the MC but how they feel the need to fight it

I’m not gonna lie. It’s the scene after the potential kiss with Ava. My emotions are high and seeing my best friend(Farah) come in and go with the “if you hurt him, I’ll make sure you never do it again” almost had me in tears 😭😂

Can we save our save at book 3 cause it came up blank when it was finished. P.s love your work and story

Might sound weird, but surprisingly for me, it was the scene where M steps in the shower with you, clothes on, the moment you cry out in pain, and they are just there, holding you. No innuendos, no crass comments, no deflecting, just pure support, care, and stoic affection. I screamed, lol. I desperately wish that scene was longer, just on how powerful it was in portraying M's character attitude and behavior towards their romance with the detective.

N route: N saying they miss humanity, almost like a slip of their veneer, while looking out for Murphy. N’s backstory, talking about Milton and what happened with their turning (how they dissociated when talking about it) A route: Telling the MC that they are so brave and so strong, and how much they admire them (b3 after the building collapse) M route: Cleaning the crystal and them having a break down during it. It was so intense! F route: Any time F talks about their mother. How much they love her, how they blame themselves, how they’ll never know what happened to her LT: Besides all of it, A seeing N’s handwriting and saying theyll never be them. A pushing N out of the way so they won’t get zapped but they both get zapped Rebecca saying she didn’t know how to parent but Rook did

This is probably weird but the scene where M apologizes after the bakery “incident.” I can’t explain it, but my girl always jokes about taking a photo of M’s apology and their reaction has me feeling things, okay? I somehow find that scene much more intense than the pretty intense ones. Probably because it sums M and Liv’s relationship so well 🥺😭

I have two particular A route ones, but they also made me feel two very DIFFERENT strong emotions, LOL: First, the scene in B3 (after Sin basically drops a house on MC) where A is tending MC's wounds and telling them how strong they are. It said a lot both about who A is and what they really adore about the MC, and it was a remarkably vulnerable moment for BOTH of them, which we rarely see happening at the same time. The second one was the big kiss scene... because when A said, "We could have this, just for tonight," or something to that effect, I was so deeply angry on the MC's behalf, I wanted to put my phone down and do a lap to cool off. I think having the BFF afterwards telling A to get a grip and stop doing the push/pull thing with the detective afterwards really helped, though.

Eve

N route: kind of a silly one, but the beginning of B4 when A is at the door and N leaves in the middle of trying to get freaky with the MC... and answers the door still in their underwear. That made me laugh, because it added an interesting layer to N's and A's centuries-old friendship (they've seen each other in all states of dress and seem unbothered), but also because it was just a testament to the normally polite, proper N's sheer exasperation with not getting time alone with MC, lol! That scene managed to be sweet and sexy and funny all at once, and that's a hard thing to achieve!

Eve

F route: having to choose between saving F and saving Sanja in B2. I honestly could not choose for several minutes, I was just staring at my device and feeling guilty! So, eventually, I chose F - I couldn't live with whatever consequences there were for NOT choosing F - and I felt even guiltier when Sanja died!!! That had to be probably the most immersive moment in all of the series for me, because I felt so awful but at the same time I couldn't imagine going back and changing my mind. I also played F's route after A's and M's (I was most curious about the grumpy two), and both A and M encourage the MC to save Sanja and not themselves, but F literally asks MC to save them... so I was not anticipating that, and I think I would have felt guilty no matter what I chose, LOL. That's outstanding writing. What a sadistic choice!

Eve

M route: I have several playthroughs for all of the routes (to experience different choices and their impact on the romances or character dynamics), so I have two entirely different scenes that stand out to me from two separate playthroughs. For one of them, I chose to kiss Bobby in B2... leading to M finding out about the kiss in B3. For that playthrough, I also play a male MC, so both Bobby and Morgan call him 'handsome,' which adds an... especially painful layer to the fact that MC obviously chose to kiss his ex over Morgan. So, when M was obviously upset and hurt (and withdrew to be alone to deal with it), I was touched and surprised. Firstly by the depth M had in that scene - I think I would have reacted exactly as they did, going to sulk and keeping the Bobby-kisser at arm's length - but also by the obvious way M felt for the MC at that time without even realizing it. In that playthrough specifically, I like to think that was what made it clear to both M and MC that what they have is no longer just a sex thing, it's gotten complicated. For my other playthrough, the scene that made me feel strongest was actually, surprisingly, in B4. That MC has not slept with M at all, they've only kissed, but whenever M is talking about how sex helps with their senses, and is being super casual and cavalier and meaningless about it, they seem to realize how that might come across to the MC and catch themselves. They sort of awkwardly, but sweetly, rush to tell MC that it wouldn't be like that with them, clearly nervous and implying that sex would mean something to them with the MC. It was a nice little thing, and it showed that M cares about how they make the MC feel. I took it as a sign that they learned from that messy B3 scene in the Bakery... LOL!

It's a very difficult question but I would say it was the scene after the characters defeat Murphy, at the end of Book 1 ! When my character was bleeding out on the ground, Adam calling out to him, I just saw the scene in my mind and I got scared because I really thought my character could die in the game, reflecting on my choices, what I did wrong... That's when I realized it was more than just a game I was doing for fun because I needed to fill my mind at that time ; I really wanted more. When I thought about the fact there was two more books to do and the forth going on I felt so excited and happy ! Wayhaven really was a game I found by chance while doing researches on another game with ChatGPT and when I played the demo, I got intrigued ; but the end of Murphy really was the strongest scene for me (for now) (I don't doubt there are strong things going on in the forth book) I would also like to add a special mention to the sex scene with Mason at the end of the third Book, because the level of consent asks was crazy and I find nothing more beautiful than consent in a relationship. (Sorry if some sentences aren't grammatically correct ;w;) Have a nice day and happy new year to everyone ! ♥

In book 3 when the RO finds the MC catatonic and unresponsive - specifically when M is the RO, because holy shit they're just so uncharacteristically terrified and panicked that my heart broke a little.

Oh that’s a tough one for sure. I’ll pick two because those drove me mad. M’s route in Book 3, the scene where the MC struggles in the shower to wash off the blood. My favourite route is to not sleep with M and it makes it so special. The way they don’t look at the MC in any other way than just pure worry and tenderness. For A’s route when F is the best friend, the end of book 3. After the kiss where A breaks apart and F finds them. "When you hurt him so bad that he won't let you try any more." (…)"And I'll be right by his side making sure you can't, either." Is just perfect I adore it and honestly all the longing and yearning from A is my to go. No matter how bad it hurts lol

Sphinx

F's last Best Friend scene on A's route. It comes after an emotionally charged moment between the MC and A, so having F show their support for the MC in the face of A's shenanigans was a comforting cap to that scene. It had a quiet, dramatic tone that felt both finessed and natural. We see Unit Bravo’s closeness all the time among themselves, but this was one of the first moments where that bond expanded to include the MC in a meaningful way.

Two of the biggest emotional scenes for me was in book 2 with Nat. After the fight with the Trappers to save Sanja, if you don't help Nat she is injured and taken to the Warehouse. I was really torn between the option to save her, because she tells you to go help Sanja, but didn't want to leave her on her own. I decided that my character would trust her and went to help Sanja. In the scene where you talk with Nat as she is recovering, she turns her face to hide some of the bruises on her face, but the detective can gently turn her head towards him. This was really important moment especially going into book 3 where Nat starts to open up more. This scene is really emblematic of how Nat tries to hide the less then appealing sides of her, but how the detective is there ready to accept that side as well. This also leads into the final scene on the Ferris Wheel where the relationship really starts after a book of charged emotions and ends with the first kiss.

I know im late to the party, For Ava, of course both versions of after the sanja decision! If you saved Sanja you got Ava calling you everything. On the flip side if you save Ava theres a moment the decision can take a toll on the detective and Ava trying to offer comfort through their grief. For Morgan the carousel where she kisses where you were bitten by Murphy. I think this was when I frist started really liking Morgan's route. Farah would be the frist kiss I think by the fire in the second book. The whole scene was definitely a favorite. Nat would beeeee... clashing for the first time when she doesnt want you to fight the trappers. The emotions of being at odds with someone you love is captured perfectly.

No idea why, but for me its B2, the walk with F and the "Oh, you like me!" moment. That makes me wanna turn around and walk away from my phone (in a good way, lol). And also the fireplace moment.

Lamont Milbourne

It's got to be A at the end of book three, that ruined me
