Agent: Thank you for agreeing to meet with me today, Nathaniel.

Nathaniel: Nate, please. People only call me Nathaniel when they want something. Which I am sure you wouldn’t ask something of me after everything I’ve just been through, would you?

Agent: We are not asking anything of you, no. But we hope to offer you something.

Nate: Hm, those two things are not always very different.

Agent: In this case, I hope it is. You have been presented with the tour of our facility? Introduced to what it is we hope to do as a group?

Nate: I have. It is a worthy cause, especially now I am one of those supernaturals you hope to protect.

Agent: Thank you. But in order to help the supernaturals, as well as humans harmed by our world, we need agents.

Nate:…

Agent: We were hoping—

Nate: Yes, I understand what it is you are hoping.

Agent: There are many benefits to becoming an agent within our organisation. We can offer you security, a purpose—

Nate: A purpose?

Agent: Many immortal supernaturals find that the idea of an eternal life is easier when you have a purpose for that long life.

Nate: And do those 'many immortal supernaturals' also bring with them the risk I present?

Agent: We believe your unique situation could be of benefit. Eventually. Once we have helped you control it.

Nate: Control is the only thing I can focus on at this moment. I am sorry. But you will need to find someone else for your organisation.

(Nate exits the room at this point in the interview)
