"The powder stuff is definitely the best," he replies, gesturing to the subtle but effective shadow around his grey eyes. "It's gentle to press on. Anything you have to drag, like kohl pencil or pen, can get a bit irritating to put on. As for nails, I don't really care for painting them. It's a lot of effort to keep up on. And my hair…I like it the way it is. No one gets to mess with it."

"I thought it looked lovely in the half-up style [Name] did it in for you the other day," Nat comments with a shrug.

Mason throws her a narrow-eyed glare. 

…Apparently, that last answer wasn't quite as honest as he let on.
