The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 09/Sept/2026 (Patreon)

One and a half epilogues more are finished!

That means there’s only 2 left to go!!

It was actually two completely finished yesterday, but then I changed my mind on one of them. There’s really something I want to get into Farah/Felix’s epilogue that I was struggling to get in, so I left it.

But it’s bugging me waaay too much not to add it in as it’s SO important! Which means I’m currently working on rewriting and adding that in. But I will actually probably have that completely done by the end of tomorrow anyway!

I also worked on the Halloween Scenario Specials for Patreon this week. Super pleased to get most of those done too as the AU meet-cutes were amazingly fun to write! I totally forgot to let you know what those were in last week’s update, so here’s the ones that won the poll!

Trick or Treat - Mason/Morgan 07.10.2026 Your MC accompanies Verda's kids trick or treating around Wayhaven, and there's one door left to knock at...

Halloween Party - Adam/Ava 14.10.2026 Corny costumes, sugary foods, drinks, masks...no one is who they seem

Séance - Nate/Nat 21.10.2026 Your MC attends a local séance, but one of the clients seems to be looking for someone a bit further back in time than they imagined

Spooky Movie - Felix/Farah 28.10.2026 Your MC decides to head to the local cinema for a showing of a classic scary movie, and there's only one other attendee

Obviously, you guys have already seen the Mason/Morgan one, and I’m glad you enjoyed it! Cara was really the standout in that scenario I feel, hehe! :D

Then it was back to the epilogues again!

I’m so, SO close to the end now I can taste it!!

I’m really hoping to get the last two epilogues done next week. One of them is the friend route, so that won’t actually have much to it, as the friend route doesn’t in general—what with Wayhaven being a romance game and all, lol!

So yeah, I’m hoping for big things next week! Watch this space! If I get the writing done (obviously there’s still editing and testing, etc, to go. But finishing the writing would be the biggest step done!), I will obviously put out a post before the update to let you know! But it’s not a certainty, as I do have to actually find the epilogue plans for the love triangle, lol!

But still…fingers crossed!!

For Update+ this week, worked on Fs epilogue a lot this week, so have a heartbreaking moment from that to share in my rollercoaster of emotions, hehe!

"Farah/Felix is…." Adam/Ava frowns, rubbing at the arched bridge of his/her nose.

"Not here?" I offer.

He/She throws me a withering stare. "Obviously. But the reason Farah/Felix is not here is because of you."

My stomach clenches.
