That Bit Extra — Book Four, The Next Page of the Opening... (Patreon)

With my vision eventually clearing, I try to take a few relaxing breaths.

My head lolls to one side as my body unfurls from its pained state.

And I find myself staring into the wide, dead, open eyes of a stranger.

Choices:

#Scrabble away from the corpse in a panic.

#Check their pulse to make sure they are actually dead.

#Try not to panic and remain calm.

#Poke the body gingerly…just in case.
