I’m re-listing to this while working on one of my fanfics and I couldn’t help but think what if the reason they couldn’t remember the name was because it wasn’t them who burned the village down but their older twin brother? The brother figured out she was coming from him so he sets up his little brother to die instead so he can set up a trap for her. He catches her by surprise and locks her up so he can torture her but the supposed dead brother saves her!
