Ooo this is gonna be exciting! ❤️😊🤗

Oooh the accented villain we were told about last night! I'm excited! The title alone has me incredibly intrigued! (The thumbnail is cool too) And already, I quite enjoy this accent! Also, the rainy ambiance was really nice! It's my favorite ambiance type and I was listening to some rain audios earlier today so this was eerily perfect 😂! Amazing work TW! You're an excellent writer, especially when it comes to the whimsical, enchanted stuff 😂 "I'm sure you're quite the Dangerous one," I see what you did there 😂 "That one talks too much," ok just @ me next time 😂 Also, I'm getting some Rune Mistress vibes. I wonder why that is? 🤔😂 "Are you in danger?" OMG TW, all these references 😂 Oh wait is this another yandere type? I should've realized. Tho I do like the idea of an illusionist, that's a new type we haven't seen before and I think this one has a lot of potential! Like, an actual illusionist would be scary AF bc they're basically the Gods of Gaslighting 😂 In a way, this kinda reminds me of the Goddess of Madness! I can’t wait to see how an Illusionist’s power will work in an audio format, and how it’ll work across the story! Oh lord, this is peak Fear Play isn't it? She's making us hallucinate our worst fears... TW, you sadist. Tho tbh, it makes sense, given her powers 😂 This really was giving me so much deja vu for so many other DA audios, this lady will fit right in with all the other sadists 😂 And DA, I can see why you enjoyed this script so much! 😂 This is basically a Boggart, huh? But OMG TW, your descriptions of fear were incredible and the fact that you dealt with both "little" fears (like spiders) and bigger, more abstract ones was really cool. (Calling us all out, huh? 😂) And DA, that storm of eerie whispers, whimpers and other noises was brilliant! If you ever wanted to do a horror audio, this was brilliant! Like the SFX were really unique and chilling, so they fit perfectly with this story. Favorite part of the audio for sure, it was just so fitting and so well executed! It was fun to listen to, all the whispers swirling around my head 👌👌👌👌👌 Amazing work on the vocals, DA, both main and background! I know you did some overlapping whispers in the Crossover series but it was still cool to hear it here, especially since there was more interwoven in! Idk how easy or hard all the overlapping noise was, but it definitely sold the scene and helped with the realism. As if I wasn’t already dying for you to do a horror audio! 😂👌 IDK if this is gonna be a series, but TW, the ending has me intrigued... will it somehow connect to Rune Mistress? 👀

Another audio well done! T.W has done another amazing job, this also gives me vibes to the Rhune Mistresss as well! and with that another 10/10 in my book! A job well done from you two

This one crawled into my brain in ways I was not expecting, but I'm here for it. Wonderfully written, T.W. and DA...the vocal shifts, the sfx and everything just coming together to create that pull into the world? Omg so good. So fucking good.

Jade

The ambience, the sfx and those voices...the way they just completely surround you...left even my head tingling. T.W did great work here and DA, you were just absolutely outstanding. I'm gonna go listen to it again, my head is still tingling. Didn't need to put that last sentence there, but it's there.

Oh shit. My boy T.W and DA 💯💯 this was dope as hell🔥 loved this

It's wonderful to immerse myself in these short stories. In those few moments I can just feel so many different fascinating things.

I would've made a huge mistake visiting her. When something really really freaks me out I have this awful feeling in my chest like someone stabbed me there and I feel like my heart got really heavy. The feeling lasts for days and it makes me feel like I need to seek perfessional help when the things that freak me out isn't real.

The illusionist is a pretty interesting character. I wouldn’t call her truly “sadistic” or “evil”, since she did apologize about showing our greatest fear, however, I wouldn’t say she’s truly “good” since it seem like she takes some enjoyment in her power, which I think is interesting and I’m wondering what’s her plan with us and what the listeners gains from making peace with her.

Right? Couldn’t have said it better myself. Like you said, she apparently only did this to test our minds, which I find intriguing: an explanation beyond mere sadism. I want to see the extent of our powers and why fear was the first test she gave us, tho it would definitely explain why she has a bitter streak. Who wouldn’t, if their primary power inflicted fear? I just wanna see what other illusions she can make and what the rules are with her magic. And I want to know just what makes us so special, what makes our mind tougher than most...

Sauvegarde

This is one of my fantasies. I wrote a saynet once, with a stage magician performing various feats in front of an audience. Like card tricks, escapism, sawed woman (herself in this occurence), etc. All increasingly dangerous and disturbing. Of course this illusionist has a much more direct approach ;)

She doesn’t seem to want to keep us enslaved or torture us, maybe her goal is to teach us some magic so we can go back to the one who sent us with illusionist magic rather than she join this alliance and the fear thing was probably just to test our willpower and see if we’re capable of wielding it.

That’s what it seems like and I’m down to learn some magic. Yer a wizard Boggle 😂

Ahem. So, now that I have collected my thoughts, I'm going to leave a few words about this audio too. I have already listened to it three times. Let me just begin by saying I was not ready for something like this. The SFX were amazing right from the start and created an amazing atmosphere, painting a very clear picture in my head. I love the sound of rain. Sitting inside and listening to the rain against the window is just the most calming ambience to me. The situation of knocking on a strangers door in the pouring rain immediately creates a certain tension. I was pulled right in. And you just knew from the start that she was dangerous (no pun intended xD). The idea of being mind controlled and having no control over my body while being completely aware of what's happening is really hot to me. It's one of the reasons why I like the Rune Mistress series so much. The Illusionist definitely used the same abilities to an extent. I wonder if the two know each other. Maybe the Rune Mistress is even the person the Illusionist spoke of, the one who sent the listener. Anyway, the Illusionist is such an interesting character. On the one hand, she said she finds it "primal to watch a struggling victim" and clearly takes sadistic pleasure in torturing us with her magic. On the other hand, she apologizes for what she did to us and claims she didn't feel any joy to see the fear in our eyes. The scene when she shows us our deepest fears was absolutely incredible. The SFX with the whispers and distand cries created such a dense atmosphere. I would love to hear a horror audio where you use stuff like this. I also really liked the slight accent you gave this character. Much like the Rune Mistress, she seemed to be almost two different people. Once the composed empathetic person and then the sadistic witch when she is overcome by her desire to experiment on us. Especially the sadistic side of her character sounded incredibly sexy. I really hope this will become a series, I absolutely loved it. Great work, DA and TW!

Either way I’m interested to see where this goes wether she’s a true sadist or she’s someone trying to test us for a currently unknown reason who so happens to like using her power on others but not actively going out of her way to hurt people.
